Understanding mental health in the workplace

Good mental health at work and good management go hand in hand and there is strong evidence that workplaces with high levels of mental wellbeing are more productive. Addressing wellbeing at work increases productivity by as much as 12%.

As an established Institute of Leadership & Management Centre, Bruck Payne recognises that there is a skills and knowledge gap in the learning and development of managers and supervisors around the subject of mental health. Our Working Minds, Working Well training and development workshop ensures that they as people with the privilege of managing and leading others, are equipped with the relevant knowledge of mental health disorders to be able to manage and provide a high standard of support and well-being.

For many managers or supervisors, it is not that they don’t have the will to help and support others well-being, it’s just that they don’t have enough understanding of the subject.

Our one-day workshop will help employers and individuals to recognise and assess the mental health of someone who may be suffering from issues such as Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder or Depression and to provide the appropriate support.
