Exeter University Leadership Network CPD Day

On 16th June, Josie attended the Leadership Network Day hosted by the Centre for Leadership Studies, part of the business school at Exeter University.

Exeter University

The University of Exeter’s Business School

Four CPD days are run at the University per year, with themed workshops based around areas within business such as cross sector partnership working and leadership in the context of human resources.

The way was based around the idea of a “knowledge exchange” with a range of speakers in the world of business speaking on topics such as leadership, social networking and employability.

Josie spoke on the subject of using the Myers Briggs Type Indicator with young people, as done in our Bringing Performance Alive programme, in partnership with schools across the country.

Launch of new leadership programme

We are excited to announce the development of our new team building and leadership programme. The exclusive new programme will use a creative, film making format to encourage delegates to step outside their comfort zone and think outside the box.

The exciting new format was used in our last Artemis & Apollo meeting at the Missenden Abbey Conference Centre, in Buckinghamshire, on Thursday, 8th July. The task was extremely well received by the delegates, who took to it eagerly and used great team work, creative thinking and leadership skills to create a brilliant video on the subject of stress and how to overcome it.

The delegates wrote, filmed and starred in the video

We look forward to seeing the final product and the launch of this exciting new programme.
